This 8 x 8 x 48 inch telescoping inner box is the inner component of a two-piece adjustable corrugated set built for shipping tall, elongated, or irregularly dimensioned goods. ECT-48 double wall corrugated construction delivers substantially greater stacking strength and puncture resistance than single wall board, making it well suited for heavier or fragile long-form products.
Full overlap (FOL) bottom construction reinforces the base panel against failure under load — a meaningful advantage when contents are dense or when boxes are stacked in transit. Telescoping two-piece sets are used extensively in e-commerce fulfillment, furniture and fixture distribution, manufacturing, and industrial shipping wherever fixed-depth boxes cannot accommodate product length.
The inner box must be paired with its matching outer box (T8848OUTERDW) to complete the telescoping set; both components are sold separately. Each bundle contains 15 inner boxes. At approximately 2.577 lbs, the boxes ship via parcel carrier.
